EdSights acquires Edvise to strengthen its AI innovation capabilities

EdSights has acquired Edvise, bringing on a team of technical founders who have spent the last few years building AI-native tools for higher ed. The acquisition deepens our product and engineering bench and accelerates our ability to build innovative AI solutions for the institutions we serve.

‍
The Edvise founders started the company right out of college, motivated by a problem they ran into firsthand: course registration and academic planning are harder than they need to be. Over the past two years they launched a course planning tool, an AI-driven retention product, and a CRM with sophisticated automation built in. Two of the three founders are engineers, and their work shows what's possible when technical depth meets a deep understanding of the challenges colleges and universities face today.

‍
That combination is what drew us to Edvise. We've believed for a while that AI is most effective when it’s thoughtfully designed to address real problems specific to higher ed. The Edvise founders have spent years developing that understanding.

"We started Edvise to help colleges understand what their students need and make it easier for faculty and staff to support them. What excites us most about joining EdSights is its scale: more than 300 colleges and universities already partner with EdSights, and now we get to bring our ideas to a platform that big. We're excited to build AI tools that help colleges act on what they hear, so more students get the support they need to graduate."

- Sujay Potlapelly, Aadi Khanna, and Simon Wilton, Co-Founders, Edvise

“We see this as an opportunity to move faster with a team that shares our vision for where the industry is headed, Claudia Recchi, co-CEO of EdSights, shared.

"What's always stood out is how thoughtful they are about the industry combined with very strong technical ability. That combination is hard to find, and we're thrilled to have them at EdSights.”
